This class is a post-CCW class to improve your shooting skills.

It will cover proper stance, draw, grip, sight alignment, sight picture, and trigger control.

The student will shoot from positions; standing, squatting, kneeling, and urban prone.

This class will cover proper carry and ready positions and immediate post engagements.
Proper one-hand shooting techniques.
Reloads and malfunctions.
Safety and medical brief.

This class is not a target or competition shooting class but rather a gunfighter’s class to help prepare you for a real-life violent encounter.

    This class is tailored for concealment, with a compact concealed handgun and one spare magazine. You should carry your pistol concealed, but is not mandatory.

    • Time:             0800 -1630.

    This class is a continuation of Phase 1 where you improve on the basic skills and put theory into practice.
    The student will perform various shooting positions learned in Phase 1 and implement them using cover with ready and carry positions.
    This class is a combination of paper and steel targets.
    This class will cover, cover and concealment and the differences between them.
    Shooting from barricades
    Shoot on the move; forwards, backward, laterally.
    Multiple targets.

    • Prerequisite:   Pistol Engagements Phase 1
    • Time:              0800 – 1630.

    Rifle Engagements Phase 1

    This rifle class is set up to be familiar with your assault rifle.
    Knowing and understanding your mechanical offset.
    Targets will be at 50 yds. and in.
    The majority of the class will be at 25 yds. and in.
    The proper way to load and unload your rifle.
    Malfunctions and reloads.
    Carry positions and ready positions.
    Standing, kneeling, and urban-prone shooting positions.
    Safety and medical brief.

    • Prerequisite:     None
    • Time:                0800-1630.
    • Check-in:         0715 - 0745.
    • Cost:               $100 - Range Fee included.

    • A good quality red dot sight mounted correctly and zeroed prior to coming to class. 3X magnifiers are ok. Can have magnification optics up to 4 X. Variable power optics 1-6 X are ok.
    • You can use your iron sights, but not preferred.

    Rifle Engagements Phase 2

    This rifle class is a continuation of Phase One where you implement your shooting skills into moving forward, backward, and laterally.
    The use of cover, barricades, and multiple targets.
    Searching for targets, active shooter preparation.
    Targets will be at 50 yds and in.
    The majority of the class will be at 25 yds. and in.
    Safety and medical brief.

    • Prerequisite:     R.E. Phase 1
    • Time:                0800-1630. 
    • Check-in:         0715 – 0745
    • Cost:               $100 Range Fee included.

    Low Light Pistol

    This class enables students to effectively engage intended targets in low-light conditions. Students will utilize both handheld and weapon-mounted lights to engage paper and steel targets from distances up to 25 yards, with the majority of the class focusing on targets at 7 and 10 yards. The course covers: selecting appropriate flashlights for handheld and weapon-mounted use, proper carry positions for flashlights, differences and applications of lumens versus candela, beam patterns, hotspots, throw, and spill. Engaging multiple targets, use of barricades, and shooting while on the move

    •  Prerequisites: Successful completion of Pistol Engagements Phase 1 & 2.
    • Time:               1600 to 2300. Please arrive for

    Equipment Required: Please bring the following:

    • A reliable semiautomatic pistol. No revolvers or calibers smaller than 9 MM, please.
    • A sturdy holster that retains its shape when the gun is drawn.
    • Please refrain from bringing Vanguard or Serpa type holsters (exceptions made for Law Enforcement Officers), or shoulder holsters.
    • One magazine pouch. Additional magazines can be stored in your pockets.
    • 300-350 rounds of high-quality ammunition. Reloads are not permitted.
    • 3-4 magazines for double-stack pistols.
    • 5-6 magazines for single-stack pistols.
    • A high-intensity handheld flashlight (minimum 500 Lumens).
    • A weapon-mounted light is recommended but not necessary.
    • Extra batteries for both types of lights.

      Low Light Rifle

      This class is designed for the student to be able to positively identify his/her intended threat in low light engagements with his/her rifle. To be familiar and train in low light engaging threats with a rifle. Topics that will be covered are included but not limited to: proper mounting of flashlight and placement on the rifle, engaging multiple targets, working with barricades (use of cover), and shooting on the move. Targets will be at 50 yds and in. The majority of class will be at 25 yds and in. We will shoot at a combination of steel and paper targets.

        This class is all about moving in, through, and around vehicles for cover. Shooting under, over, around, and through vehicles. Learn how to port a windshield, and learn first-hand what will stop a bullet and what will not. Put your theories and everyone else’s myths into practice. Utilize your vehicle or someone else’s to save your life and others.

        • Prerequisite:  P.E. 1 & 2 or equivalent

              Trauma Care Course is an introductory course designed for the ready bystander. It will prepare you to be the first care provider in the event life-saving care is needed for yourself or someone else.

              This course covers:

              • Basic anatomy and physiology of life-sustaining equipment
              • MARCH trauma injury assessment
              • First aid and wound care
              • Tourniquet Application
              • Basic airway management
              • Airway adjunct device placement
              • Recognition and treatment of shock
              • Moving and positioning victims with various injuries
              • Wound packing and pressure application
              • Individual First Aid Kit (IFAK) usage and setup
              • Understand of Police, Fire and EMS operations.

              Immediate Action Operator

              This class is designed for all you high-speed - low drag operators out there who want to continue their training. This is primarily a weapon transition class. It is a combination of rifle and pistol together. You will do failure drills with the rifle and immediately draw your pistol and engage targets. Fix your rifle and get back in action. Targets will be at 25 yards and in. Primary 10, 7 yards and closer. We'll shoot a combination of paper and steel targets. You'll engage multiple targets at CQB distances. You'll do some barricade work with both pistol and rifle. This is your chance to wear all your kit and train like a professional. Body armor, chest rigs, helmets, and sub-loads are welcome.
              Please have your rifle zeroed prior to class.

              • Prerequisite: Pistol Engagements 1 & 2 and Rifle Engagements 1 & 2

                Zero Your Rifle

                Again, this class was requested by some who always seem to never have the opportunity to zero in their rifle before the big training class.  This class is time-slotted for four hours.  This class is for you so you don’t have to come to class early and try to zero yourself quickly. We will show you how to properly zero your rifle and assist you with setting up your accessories on your rifle. Are your irons (backup) sights zeroed?  You can do that here as well. We will be Zeroing at 50 Yards. Yes, you can bring a second rifle. When finished you can verify your zero on some small steel targets at 50 and 100 yards.

                This class is tailored for Law Enforcement to prepare and improve your shooting skill set to survive a violent attack on the streets. It will cover proper stance, draw, grip, sight alignment, sight picture, and trigger control. The student will shoot from positions; standing, squatting, kneeling, and urban prone. This class will cover proper carry, ready positions, and immediate post engagements. It will also cover warrior mindset, shooting on the move, multiple targets, barricades – cover and concealment, and proper one-hand shooting techniques.  We will shoot at paper and steel targets that will mainly consist of 25 yards and in.  We will cover reloads and malfunctions, safety, and medical brief.

                • Prerequisite: OPOTA certification or equivalent

                Pre CCW-Orientation

                This class was requested by civilians to get familiar with a handgun prior to taking their CCW class. This class is an introduction to handguns for concealment. This has to do with getting you set up to take your CCW. Picking the proper handgun for you. Getting a good quality holster that works for you. Which gun should I buy? Which caliber should I get? Firearm safety will be taught. This class is approximately two hours long and then two additional hours are set aside for those of you wanting to shoot your own gun or one of ours to try out. We will be running a “cold range."

                • Prerequisite:              An open mind, a good attitude, and the will to learn.
                • Time:                         0800 – 1200
                • Cost:                        $45 (Ammo not included)

                • You do not need to bring a handgun, but you are welcome to.
                • We will have several handguns to orientate yourself with.

                Disassemble, Assembly, Cleaning and Maintenance for the Pistol

                This class was also requested like the Pre-CCW Orientation class. Bring your handgun and we will show you how to do a proper "field strip". We will show you how to clean your handgun and do proper maintenance on it. You will learn how to put your handgun back together. You can also bring multiple handguns if you like. There is no shooting in this course.
