Pistol Engagements Phase 2

This class is a continuation of Phase 1 where you improve on the basic skills and put theory in to
practice.
The student will perform various shooting positions learned in Phase 1 and implement them
using cover with ready and carry positions.
This class is a combination of paper and steel targets.
This class will cover, cover and concealment and the differences between them.
Shooting from barricades
Shoot on the move; forwards, backwards, laterally.
Multiple targets.
Prerequisite: Pistol Engagements Phase 1
Time: 0800 – 1630. Check in is at 0715 – 0745 Hrs.
Cost: $ 100, Range Fee included

Equipment Required:

• Good quality working semiautomatic pistol. No revolvers please.
• No calibers smaller than a 9 MM.
• Good quality holster. One that does not collapse when the gun is drawn.
• No vanguard type holsters, No Serpa type holsters (LEO excluded), No shoulder holsters.
• A magazine pouch. One is sufficient, you can place the rest of your magazines in your pockets.
• 300 - 350 rds. of good quality ammunition. No reloads please!
• 3-4 magazines for double stack pistols
• 5-6 magazines for single stack pistols.
• Knee and elbow pads recommended but not mandatory
• Eye and Ear protection
• Rain Gear
• Bug repellant
• Sun block
• Pocket notebook
• Baseball style hat is recommended
• Water, hydration, snacks
• Please bring your lunch!
• Dress for the weather, class will continue rain or shine.
