Single Area 301 Range Membership
You must have completed previous training at Area 301 to become a member.
Area 301 Range Safety Rules
1. Check website Area301.org prior to arriving to make sure the range (s) are available.
2. Be aware of others that may be in the area.
3. Always notify everyone there that you are going down range.
4. Paper targets are in the shed, do not place paper targets in front of any steel targets.
5. Do not put any used paper targets back into the shed. Only the backer.
6. All Steel is to be put back. Do not leave it set up.
7. The trash receptacle is located in your vehicle.
8. Eye and hearing protection shall be worn at all times when your on the range.
9. No alcohol or drugs permitted. No one is to be under the influence of any intoxicating
substance.
10. All local, state, and federal laws apply.
11. No explosive devises permitted.
12. No burning permitted.
13. All juveniles must be accompanied by an adult.
14. You must have read and signed the gun waiver prior to participating.
15. You must have watched the Range Orientation Video prior to participating.
16. No Calibers larger than .308 (7.62mm x 51mm) on any steel.
17. No Steel core, penetrator, dragons breath or Armor piercing ammunition.
17. There is no shooting on the rifle range between the 50yd line and the shooting bench -100

Steel Must be at least 10 yds (30 feet) or further for handgun.
Must be at least 50 yds (150 feet ) or further for Rifle -White or Black Steel
Must be 100 yds (300 feet) for Rifle on the Blue Steel- Shooting Bench.
