Immediate Action Operator: Fundamentals

Prerequisites

You MUST:

-Understand and follow the 4 rules of firearm safety.

-Understand the manual of arms for your rifle AND pistol

-Be able to draw & reholster your pistol safely

-Successful completion of Area 301 Pistol Engagements 1&2 / Area 301 Rifle Engagements 1&2 or Equivalent OR

-Any LEO OPOTA Cert. or Equivalent OR

-Vetted by another competent firearms instructor in the industry. Any questions, please email us.

Required Gear

-Semiautomatic Handgun (no smaller than 9mm)

-Semiautomatic Rifle (ADJUSTABLE SLING IS REQUIRED! 2 Point is preferred. No carrying straps!)

-Holster that does not collapse after draw!

-Magazine Pouch & 3 to 4 pistol and rifle magazines (you can keep the extras in your pocket)

-Eye & Ear Protection

-It is preferred, but not mandatory that you bring an Individual First Aid Kit

RESTRICTIONS

-NO Sig Sauer P320’s allowed!

-No Vanguard type holsters, No Serpa type holsters (LEO excluded), No shoulder holsters.

Primary Focus

Immediate Action Operator is designed to test your ability to run your rifle and your pistol together as a system.

The FUNDAMENTALS class will primarily focus on weapon transitions while under pressure and while suffering malfunctions.

This is a chance to learn whether you are using the right kit, and if you have it set up appropriately.
