Low-light Identification &Threat Encounters
Prerequisites
You MUST:
-Understand and follow the 4 rules of firearm safety.
-Understand the manual of arms for your handgun
-Be able to draw & reholster your handgun safely
-Invite Only
Required Gear
-Semiautomatic Handgun (no smaller than 9mm)
-Holster that does not collapse after draw!
-Magazine Pouch & 3 to 4 magazines (you can keep the extras in your pocket)
-Proper defensive handheld light & pistol light (no pen lights for fighting)
-Admin light preferred
-Eye & Ear Protection
-It is preferred, but not mandatory that you bring an Individual First Aid Kit
Restrictions
-NO Sig Sauer P320’s allowed!
-No Vanguard type holsters, No Serpa type holsters (LEO excluded), No shoulder holsters.
-No Revolvers Please.
Primary Focus
This is a thinking class, not a shooting class.
You will:
-Learn defensive light technique
-Use handheld / pistol light together
-Use light to identify and engage targets
-Have a clear understanding of how to improve after the class
-This is primarily a pistol class, but there will be an optional rifle portion.
